Scott Prince is a mortgage banking professional with nearly 30 years of experience. Scott is known for his exceptional customer service, knowledge and expertise, attention to detail, and dedication to always closing on time. Living in the Vail Valley for over 30 years, Scott is experienced in the nuances of resort communities in the Rocky Mountains. With his extensive lending background, Scott is well-equipped with the experience to structure complex transactions and guide all types of clients, whether a second home purchase or first-time homebuyer purchasing a deed restricted property. Scott was previously with Wells Fargo Private Mortgage Banking and joined First Western Trust Bank for their shared vision of providing a tailored client experience with local underwriters, make sense underwriting, extremely competitive rates, and wide variety of loan programs including conforming, portfolio and jumbo loans for nearly every client.

Community service and civic involvement is a driving core value. Scott is currently an Adjunct Professor at Colorado Mountain College’s Business School teaching business. He was elected to and served as a Town Councilor on the Avon Town Council from 2014 – 2022. In addition, Scott served on Avon’s Planning Zoning Commission from 2008 - 2014. In these roles, Scott fulfilled his goal to help the Town of Avon become a nationally and internationally recognized year-round mountain resort community, while protecting the interests of residents, businesses and guests. Scott has also served on the Home Buyers Assistance Committee, Eagle County Economic Advisory Council, Avon’s Finance and Health/Recreation committees and has served on the Vail Board of Realtors. During the winter, Scott is a volunteer for the Talon Crew, which supports the FIS Ski World Cup “Birds of Prey” race held annually at Beaver Creek Ski Resort.
